On May 2nd, 2025, the YEDC sponsored for the third year in a row a group of STEM students from Penn Wood HS. The students were treated to a field trip to the Science Center located in University City. Students were exposed to possible summer internships at the Center as well a robotics demonstration that was provided by Navy contractors. It was a hands on demonstration and the students seemed to enjoy it during their trip.
It was a pleasure seeing the students take such an interest in the topics presented.
