Born in Philadelphia, raised in Lansdowne, Pa, currently lives in Yeadon. Spent summer months as a child at the Nile, learning how to swim and dive. Went to school in the William Penn School District, graduated from Penn Wood High School in 1990, 2 sport athlete; basketball and Track & Field. 2nd Team All-Delco in basketball, 1st Team All-Delco & State Champion in the Long Jump, 1990, 1st Team All-State in Track & Field. Went on to The Lincoln University, majored in Business Administration & Management, graduated in 1994, continued to be a 2 sport student-athlete, 2nd Team All- Conference in basketball 1993, 6 Time All-American in the Triple Jump (Track & Field). Currently works for Wells Fargo Bank for the past 18 years; current position is a Personal Banker. Passion and ministry is serving the youth through coaching and mentoring. President and basketball commissioner for the Yeadon Education Athletic Association (YEAA), a 501c3 non-profit organization since 2008, providing youth sports, soccer and basketball, a mentoring program along with tutoring services. Also has coached track & field for the Delco Stallions Track Club as the Jump Coach. Married for 23 years to Diana Howard, 2 sons Darren & DeVon. Ordained Elder, trustee on the finance committee at Beulah Tabernacle Church under Bishop Keith Thomas. Board member of the Yeadon Economic Development Corp (YEDC) since 2017 and serves as a Special Advisor for the Penn Wood Foundation. Appointed to the Board of Directors of the Nile Swim Club in May 2018. Inducted into the Lincoln University Athletic Hall of Fame on May 3, 2019 (Basketball and Track & Field)
